The announcement of the final winner came on Tuesday, following a Pennsylvania judge's decision not to halt the program. The sweepstakes faced legal scrutiny when the Philadelphia district attorney filed a civil lawsuit, alleging violations of state gaming laws.
America PAC expressed gratitude to those who supported the rights to free speech and bear arms by signing the petition to participate in the sweepstakes. Despite legal challenges, the pro-Trump group distributed a total of $18 million to 18 registered voters in battleground states.
Notably, the Justice Department had issued a warning that the program could potentially breach federal vote-buying laws. However, this did not deter America PAC from awarding the prizes as planned.
