Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have established the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), aiming to propose cuts to federal diversity and inclusion programs, as per a recent report. DOGE's primary objective is to enhance government efficiency by reducing spending and waste, potentially influencing White House budget policies.
A 19-page report from the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, a conservative nonprofit, suggests that over $120 billion is spent annually on diversity initiatives deemed unconstitutional, including Agriculture Department grants for minority farmers. While complete elimination of these funds is unlikely, cuts are expected to be made to reallocate spending.
