During Elon Musk’s time working with Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, his drug use got much worse than what had been reported before. This was a period when Musk became a strong supporter of Trump, joining him at campaign events and giving around $275 million to help the campaign. At the same time, sources say Musk was using more drugs than ever, including ketamine, ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms.
The NY Times reported that Musk took so much ketamine, a strong anesthetic, that it caused bladder issues, which is a known side effect of long-term ketamine use. He also carried a daily pill case with about twenty pills, some of which were identified as Adderall, a stimulant.
