Ellie Goulding to play Glasgow's Barrowlands as star announces date for UK tour

Ellie Goulding has announced her Higher Than Heaven tour and confirmed she'll be returning to Glasgow for an exciting show this October.

The star has revealed she'll be heading to the Barrowlands on October 18 as part of the UK and EU tour.

The news follows the announcement that her hotly anticipated fifth studio album 'Higher Than Heaven' is due for release this April 7, with fans given a glimpse with her new releases 'By the End of the Night' and 'Miracle' - her recent collaboration with Calvin Harris which peaked at number 2 on the UK Official Chart.

Her shows in the UK and Ireland kick off in Dublin on October 16 before she heads for Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

Her promoters say Higher Than Heaven, which fans can preorder now from the website, has seen Ellie enlist some of pop music’s finest to craft the album with her, GregKurstin (Sia, Maggie Rogers, Elton John), Jessie Shatkin (Charli XCX, Years & Years), Koz (Sam Ryder, Madonna, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Wells (Halsey, Yungblud), with the finished record seeing Ellie put her "own spin on modern pop music".

How to get tickets:

Tickets for the Grammy award-winning singer go on general sale at Thursday 6th April at 9 am from LiveNation and Ticketmaster.
