Singer Ellie Goulding and her husband Caspar Jopling are spending time apart, according to sources.
The couple married during a ceremony attended by royalty back in 2019 a year after they announced their engagement.
Over the years, Ellie, 36, and Caspar, have kept their relationship extremely private and rarely spoke about one another.
Ahead of their ceremony, Ellie was baptised in order to marry Caspar at York Minster on August 31, 2019, in front of the likes of Sarah, Duchess of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas.
It's believed that they spent a staggering £20,000 just on their flower arrangement.
According to sources, their marriage has become strained due to hectic schedules but sources believe they could rekindle their romance as they co-parent their son, Arthur.
Neither Ellie nor Caspar have moved out of their family home and they have continued to enjoy holidays together.
"There is no discussion of a divorce and neither of them have been in a new relationship," a source told The Sun, before adding: "The priority is to keep good friends and remain amicable whilst they work out their next steps, so they can stay close and enjoy being mum and dad to Arthur.
"There will always be a lot of love between them despite some difficult times, and they want the best for each other."
The source went on to say that away from their time co-parenting Arthur, they are living separate lives.
The couple have previously endured a long-distance relationship when Caspar lived in New York before returning to England to marry Ellie.
Ellie previously opened up about their long-distance marriage, admitting that she ‘loves’ her alone time.
"No I love it" Ellie said. "I love my husband – but I also love myself. I can read a book. I can go for a run, I can eat messily.
"So it's really great that you can have a partner that you don’t have to be with 24/7 – even when you’re married."
The Mirror has approached Ellie for comment.
