Elite Boise State QB commit flips to Georgia

Three-star quarterback Hezekiah Millender has flipped his commitment from the Boise State Broncos to the Georgia Bulldogs. Millender, who is one of the top recruits in the Athens area, is Georgia’s second quarterback commitment in the class of 2025.

Millender had been committed to Boise State since August. The three-star is  the No. 73 quarterback in the country, per 247Sports. He plays high school football for Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback is the No. 1,248 recruit in the class of 2025 and the No. 139 prospect in Georgia.

Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have been heavily recruiting quarterbacks over the past couple of months. Georgia is developing a plan at quarterback following the Carson Beck era. Beck is expected to enter the 2025 NFL draft. It is unclear who Georgia will start next season. Georgia’s Gunner Stockton and Jaden Rashada are the Dawgs’ top options that are currnetly on the roster.

Millender, who is also a basketball point guard recently received a scholarship offer from Georgia. On tape, Millender shows a strong arm and is a shifty, elusive runner. We wouldn’t consider him to be a true dual-threat quarterback.

Georgia has the top-ranked recruiting class in the nation. The Bulldogs already have a commitment from four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery, who has missed most of his senior season with a knee injury.
