Jets running back Breece Hall exploded for two huge plays on his first two carries since suffering a torn ACL in Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season.
On Hall’s second touch of the season, the 22-year-old broke free for an 83-yard gain, which drew praise from everyone except Eli Manning.
On ESPN’s ManningCast, the former Giants quarterback suggested that Hall should have scored a touchdown and indicated that the former second-round pick may be out of shape following his lengthy injury absence.
“Uh oh, he’s not in shape,” said Manning after Hall was run down by Bills defensive back Christian Benford. “He’s not in shape, he’s just coming back. He didn’t have the burst.
"He's not in shape." 😅

Peyton Manning seemed to enjoy Hall’s prolific rush, and suggested the team runs that play every time going forward.
After his first two rushes of the season, Hall had racked up 109 yards, enough to rank him third in the league. He’s also the only player in the league with two or more rushes of 20+ yards.
While Hall has been effective in his first taste of game action since October of last year, Manning couldn’t help point out that the star running back may not be in top shape after he failed to finish off his big run.
