Elephants electrocuted in Shivamogga

Shivamogga

Two tuskers were electrocuted at a maize farm near Channahalli near Ayanur in Shivamogga taluk on Sunday. The elephants came in contact with electric fencing installed by farmers to avoid wild boars.

The land where the incident happened belongs to Chandrappa, a farmer. The Forest Department officials have reached the spot.
