Remarkably, for the second consecutive election, there were no instances of 'faithless electors,' as each elector honored their commitment to vote for the candidates they were designated to represent.

Following the completion of the Electoral College voting, the next phase involves sending each state's votes to Congress. Lawmakers are scheduled to convene in a joint session on January 6 to formally count the electoral votes and officially announce Trump and Vance as the incoming president and vice president.
The inauguration ceremony for the newly elected officials is set to take place at noon on January 20, 2025.
