Fans of Manchester band Elbow will be getting their bucket hats ready to see their favourite musicians perform in Edinburgh this evening.
Elbow will perform at Edinburgh Castle on Friday, July 15 as part of the capital's Castle Concerts series, taking place across the summer. Elbow were the final act to join the line-up, alongside the likes of Deacon Blue, Olly Murs and The Script as 2022's headliners.

The only restriction in place tonight is that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Doors open for the Edinburgh Castle gig at 6:45pm on Friday, July 15.

This evening's concert will take place at Edinburgh Castle's esplanade, which is an outdoor arena. This means that the concert will go ahead, even if it is raining - unless the area is deemed unsafe.

- Do not sit in the grandstands if you have vertigo, suffer with breathing difficulties or heart problems

What is the weather expected to be like?
According to the Met Office forecast, Friday in Edinburgh is set to be cloudy with rain and showers, but will be dry and bright later on in the day, with highs of 18°C.
