On Friday, a devastating incident occurred in the Serbian town of Novi Sad, resulting in the loss of eight lives due to the collapse of the roof of a railway station. The country's Interior Minister confirmed the tragic event, stating that rescuers are currently working tirelessly to rescue individuals who are still trapped under the rubble.
Interior Minister Ivica Dacic mentioned that efforts are underway to reach two individuals who are believed to be stuck beneath the debris. Immediate response from emergency services was crucial, with rescuers swiftly arriving at the scene following the distress call. Approximately 80 rescuers have been mobilized to assist in the ongoing rescue operations.
