Nearly half of Brits (48%) plan to be more charitable this Christmas than last year – with 35% planning to donate money, a study has found.
Food donations (26%) and clothes donations (20%) are other ways that kind-hearted Brits intend to do their bit during the season of giving this year, according to a poll of 2,000 adults.
And almost one in five (18%) will buy Christmas gifts from charity shops, while 15% will cook Christmas lunch for others in their community, such as their neighbours.
