Egypt goalkeeper Gabaski has revealed the conversation involving himself and Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Senegal emerged victorious from the contest in Cameroon, beating Egypt on a penalty shootout after the match ended goalless following extra time.
Mane bagged the winning penalty in the shootout, while Salah was never presented the opportunity to have his spot kick.

Despite Mane scoring the winning penalty, he missed from the spot earlier in the game when Senegal were awarded a penalty in normal time.
While getting ready to take the penalty, Salah went over to Egypt goalkeeper Gabaski to give him some advice.
Given that Salah and Mane have played together for several years, the Egyptian was likely to have a good idea of what the Senegalese would do with his spot-kick.
Now Gabaski has revealed that Salah indeed told him what to expect from Mane’s penalty - before the latter tried to cause some confusion.
“Salah told me: ‘Mane would shoot to the right side, he is coming now because he knows what I am saying’.
“Mane said to me: ‘I will shoot on the left,’ then Salah replied: 'Let's see’.”
Both Salah and Mane will be back on Merseyside in the coming days as they look to get back to club football.
Salah has already expressed his desire to play for Liverpool against Leicester City on Thursday, while Mane will have similar intentions but may be more difficult due to his celebrations with Senegal in his home country.
