Indian passport holders need a visa to enter Egypt. The good news: Egypt offers a visa-on-arrival at Cairo International Airport for most Indian travellers, currently priced at USD 25. It is valid for 30 days, single entry. The process at the airport takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on the queue. If you want to avoid that wait after a long flight, apply through the official Egyptian e-visa portal before departure, the approval typically comes within a week.
