Ghana team-mate Inaki Williams has backed Mohammed Kudus to make the 'step up to a big club' amid interest from Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle.
Kudus has 12 goals for club and country so far this season, two of which came in the Black Stars' triumphant 3-2 win over South Korea earlier this week. With three points taken from their opening two games in Qatar, Ghana just need to hold their nerve against Uruguay as they search for a place in the last 16 of the competition.
Reports over the past week have suggested that Arsenal have now joined Tottenham and Newcastle United in the race for the Ajax midfielder's signature. 90 Min have even stated that the Gunners and Newcastle went one step further by asking about his 'current situation' in the Netherlands.

Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans is the Gunners' primary target in midfield. football.london reported in the summer that Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old but the club are willing to wait until next summer to sign Tielemans on a free transfer when his contract expires.
When a player is signed from the Eredevise, there are always concerns over whether he'll end up making an impression in England's top-flight. However, Williams thinks Kudus has what it takes to make a big money move.
Speaking to Radio Marca, he said: "When I played with him during the last international period before the World Cup, Kudus surprised me a lot. My teammates at Athletic Bilbao often ask me who impresses me in the national team. I always mention his name."
"Ajax is becoming too small (for him). Hopefully, he will soon make the step up to a big club,” Williams added. "I would have liked him to have a Basque relative who could take him to Bilbao!
"He is a bomb. A machine. He is already very complete, although there is still room for development due to his age. Yes (he can play for Barcelona or Real Madrid). I see him playing in a great club. He has plenty of potential and a great margin for improvement. I think he may be a revelation."
Currently valued at £12.9million, the 22-year-old is a relatively cheap option. That being said, as his contract expires in 2025, Ajax are under no pressure to sell, so the Gunners will have to pay over the odds and be proactive if they wish to secure his services.
Plus, if Williams' words are anything to go by, you can expect that value to rise in the coming months. With the Gunners in desperate need of midfield depth, you'd expect them to take note of what the Athletic Bilbao forward has to say about his fellow countryman.
