The 'next Neymar' is one hell of a label to live up to, but that is the tag that has been bestowed upon 16-year-old Palmeiras forward Endrick. The teenager continues to score in Brazil and is said to have attracted significant interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal as well as European champions Real Madrid.
Endrick has burst onto the scene in the last few months after Palmeiras gave the 16-year-old his competitive league debut in October. Since then, he has made four appearances, scoring three times and grabbing one assist despite having only featured for a combined total of 181 minutes, according to transfermarkt.
Before a 4-0 victory for Palmeiras over Fortaleza, Endrick had only made substitute appearances but he was awarded his first start for his boyhood club, where he netted in the comfortable win that saw them clinch the Brazilian Serie A league title with three games to spare.

Understandably, showing this level of talent at such a young age, Endrick has been the recipient of significant interest from several European heavyweights, with Real Madrid taking a particular liking to the teenager.
Endrick himself has not been shy about addressing some of football's top names either. After copying a signature celebration used by Manchester City's Erling Haaland, he did his own version of the nap celebration conducted by Cristiano Ronaldo after his his 700th club goal a few weeks ago against Everton at Goodison Park.
With the domestic season in Brazil close to completion, speculation surrounding Endrick will likely ramp up in the coming weeks and a new update on his future has been provided by his Dad Douglas.
In an exclusive comment to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, he said: "There’s nothing decided for Real Madrid or any other club. We've no preference yet.
"We’ll decide in the next months, the club that will pay what Palmeiras want and show us the best technical project for Endrick, will sign the boy."
Madrid are reportedly still in pole position to sign Endrick but it's possible Arsenal can persuade the forward to join the ambitious young squad being built by Mikel Arteta that is currently enjoying domestic success.
