Arsenal are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs on their former academy player Yunus Musah following a number of impressive World Cup displays from the midfielder. Musah was a key player in the USMNT's campaign in Qatar with a particularly impressive display against England in the group stages.
Musah left Arsenal in 2019 for Valencia when he was just 16 and has spent the last few seasons in Spain impressing consistently, earning his first senior call up to the USA in 2020.
Alongside Leeds United's Tyler Adams and Juventus star Weston McKennie, Musah formed a lethal and energetic midfield trio which saw the USA qualify as runners-up in group B to England.

The Netherlands were the team waiting for the USA in the last-16 and ultimately they proved too strong for Gregg Berhalter's side, with the Dutch winning 3-1 and thus sending the Americans home.
Although only one country can win the World Cup, many domestic teams in Europe will feel they have won the tournament if they can successfully scout and sign stars who have impressed in Qatar and Musah was certainly one of those.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have been scouting Musah and if any of the Gunners representatives were in Qatar, they would have certainly been impressed by Musah. Romano also explained that there are several other teams in the race for Musah who could leave in the coming months.
Romano told CBS: "Yunus Musah is in the list of Premier League clubs. Arsenal recently sent their scouts to monitor him, but there are also other Premier League giants well informed, Inter Milan are interested too. He could leave Valencia between January and June."
Following his World Cup performances, Musah would not be a cheap acquisition for any teams eyeing a possible move, with his agent recently telling Calciomercato that he does not believe that he will cost less than £34.5million next summer.
Meanwhile, as is the given with many stars playing their football in La Liga, Musah has an £86million release clause in his Valencia contract.
