Edu can complete £43m double Arsenal transfer scouting mission after FIFA announcement

Just over two months after the game was postponed, Scotland and Ukraine will lock horns on Wednesday night with the winners moving one step closer to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.

The World Cup play-off semi-final was due to be played at Hampden Park on March 24, but as announced by FIFA at the time, the fixture was understandably postponed because of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by the Russian military and rearranged for June 1 instead.

Therefore, on what is expected to be an emotional night, Scotland must overcome a Ukraine side with the extra motivation to provide a cause for celebration in their country for the right to face Wales in the World Cup play-off decider on Sunday where the winners will join England's group in Qatar.
