Mikel Arteta has spoken after Arsenal confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Matt Turner.
The Gunners had already announced deals to bring in Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira earlier this month and Turner now becomes the club's third signing of the summer window. As previously reported by football.london, the north London outfit had agreed on a deal with MLS side New England Revolution back in January to bring the American international to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Now, the 28-year-old has been officially unveiled by the club, with manager Arteta making it no secret of his delight at the signing. Speaking to the club's official media, the Spaniard said: “Matt is an experienced goalkeeper who will bring high quality to our squad.
