Edinson Cavani has joined Valencia after leaving Manchester United earlier this summer.
Cavani left United upon the expiration of his contract in July after spending the last two seasons at Old Trafford. The veteran striker joined the club upon his release from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and was an instant hit with 17 goals in his first season, earning him a contract extension.
However, Cavani struggled to live up to his debut campaign the following year and only scored two goals as he spent a large chunk of the season unavailable. Despite there being a strong suggestion that the Urugyuan was keen to return to South America throughout his time in Manchester, he has opted to remain in Europe.
