Edinburgh has enjoyed weeks of relatively good weather, with the city enjoying clear skies and warm temperatures lately.
However, this week is set to bring a return to the more wintry conditions seen at the start of the year.
According to BBC Weather, it will be a grey and chilly start to the week, with temperatures on Monday and Tuesday hovering between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, the forecaster predicts things will turn even colder — with lows of -2C and "snow showers" expected throughout the day.
Snow is first expected to fall at around 7am amid sunny spells but will stop by 9am, after which Edinburgh will see a relatively bright and sunny morning.
Following a brief spell of clear skies at 1pm, with temperatures peaking at 6C, hail showers are set to fall over the city for much of the remainder of the afternoon and early evening.
At around 8pm, the hail is predicted to briefly turn to sleet, after which it will turn to snow until midnight, at which point the mercury will plummet to 0C.
Overnight, temperatures will go as low as -1C, but skies will be dry and relatively clear.
Thursday looks to be a slightly warmer and brighter day in the capital, with highs of 7C and no snow forecast by BBC Weather.
There will, however, be a sustained period of hail showers between 3pm and 8pm, and after that temperatures will fall as low as -2C overnight.
Friday is predicted to improve further, with sunny intervals forecast all day and highs approaching 10C once more — a trend that will continue into a cloudy but mild weekend.
