Weather forecasters have warned Edinburgh locals to expect strong and gusty winds tomorrow, November 11, that may lead to significant travel disruption in the area.
The yellow weather warning, issued by specialists at the Met Office, covers the whole of Edinburgh and significant parts of the Lothian.
The warning covers Friday, November 11, from 6am to 11am in the morning, and alerts of "very strong and gusty winds" that may lead to some travel disruption during Friday morning.
Locals are urged to take greater care when out and about that day and warned to expect some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport.

Commuters are advised to allow more time for their journeys as public transport is also likely to experience delays due to the forecasted weather conditions.
Otherwise, a primarily dry day is expected tomorrow, with mostly cloudy conditions and potential light rain at around 6pm. The temperature is forecasted to rise to 16C by midday.
