Edinburgh is set to sizzle next week as BBC weather forecasters report temperatures will hit 19C.
It finally feels like Spring in the city, as residents and visitors have been enjoying blue skies and mild temperatures after a freezing winter.
Despite rain and wind forecasted for this week, sunny intervals will break through and by Tuesday April 18 there will be sunshine on Leith - and the rest of the city.

According to BBC Weather forecasters, temperatures are expected to hit highs of a toasty 19C next Tuesday with sunny intervals breaking through the cloud.
By 8am, it will already be in double figures at 10C before reaching its peak at around 3pm.
And we can enjoy the longer days with the sun setting just before 8.30pm. Wednesday April 19 is also gearing up to be a beautiful day with a 'gentle breeze'. The weather forecasters have predicted that the highest it will reach is 17C and the lowest 7C.
While slightly more cloudy, Thursday will also bring with it some sunny spells and highs of 16C at the most.
After that, the remainder of the week is set to continue being mild with cloud. While there may not be too much sunshine forecasted, it is expected to be dry until Monday April 24.
For those with plans this weekend, they can look forward to a dry few days. Reporting on the outlook from Thursday until Saturday 15, BBC Weather writes: "Winds easing going into Thursday. A mix of sunny spells and showers, and these will continue being wintry over the hills. Friday will see variable cloud to start and a few showers, these potentially wintry over the hills. Turning drier with sunny spells in the afternoon. Saturday will see dry conditions, variable cloud lingering and some prolonged sunny spells."
