Edinburgh is set to see a good few flurries of snow next week as temperatures drop across the capital.

With this week ending on a mild note, temperatures will see a considerable change on Sunday, January 15, with highs of only four degrees.

A drier day is expected on Tuesday, with Wednesday to again bring snow showers in the morning, which will have subsided by the early afternoon.

By Thursday, January 17, temperatures will have steadily increased again, with potential sleet showers in the early morning turning to rain as the city hits highs of five degrees.

The rain showers are forecast to continue all the way into Friday, but will have lightened by the weekend.
