Edinburgh weather: Capital issued with 'danger to life' warning for high winds

Edinburgh Met Office

A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for the city of Edinburgh by the Met Office, running from 5am on Friday, February 17, until 3pm.

The wind warning, which covers much of Scotland including Edinburgh and the Lothians, comes as temperatures are predicted to feel as low as 3C during the storm.
