Trams in Edinburgh have come to a standstill following a 'power issue'.
Taking to social media, the official Edinburgh Trams social media account issued a warning to customers, telling them that there would be 'extended wait times', adding that they are unable to move 'any trams'.
A power issue brought trams to a halt at around 12.30pm on Thursday March 16. As of 1.10pm, they could not give a time as to when the issue will be resolved and have said customers can use their tickets on Lothian buses.

Commuters took to social media to say that there were a lot of people waiting at Edinburgh Park and at the West End of the city.
Edinburgh Trams said on Twitter: "Due to a power issue, please expect extended wait times, apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
"We are working to fix the issue but please wait for updates. Unfortunately we are unable to move any trams, please seek alternative travel.
"Ticket acceptance is in place with Lothian buses. Apologies for any inconvenience."
