Edinburgh tourists sees 'orb' while in the vaults on city's scariest ghost tour

Edinburgh tourists believe they may have seen an 'orb' while in the vaults on city's 'scariest' ghost tour.

Travel mad couple Cory and Charlotte Jacobsen had been in the capital for a city break when they booked an Auld Reekie ghost tour and headed down to the South Bridge vaults.

As they headed down the dark tunnels into the vaults that lie beneath the old town the video blogging couple questioned - is this the city's scariest ghost tour?

The social media clip shared to TikTok documents their journey down into the vaults with the tour guide on the history walk.

They walk through what appears to be a creepy witches room filled with cauldrons and pagan symbolism.

Small stools with red velvet cushions are set in a circle around a large altar.

The tourists exclaim in their video, "It was so dark and creepy" as the clip shows them heading deeper into the dark underground tunnels.

At the end of the video clip a white unidentifiable object swoops towards the camera before bouncing away.

The holidaymakers shared the spooky clip that has been viewed over 1000 times so far, captioned: "Was that an orb at the end?"

Just last month Edinburgh ghosthunter Evelyn Hollow claimed that Scotland is the most haunted country in the world with Edinburgh being one of the top places for paranormal activity in the country due to its gruesome history.

The Most Haunted TV crew had once visited the vaults but vowed they would never go back after experiencing some chilling and unexplainable activity.
