Popular pet retailer Jollyes are set to open their first Edinburgh store in the coming months, with the business pushing ahead with plans after a more than successful end to last year.
The retailer are also opening stores in both Stirling and Glenrothes as part of their expansion, as December sales broke their current record.
The company said the rise in demand for pets such as dogs and cats grew so much towards the end of the year, with revenue up 12.5% compared to the same period last year, and 30% compared to 2019.

Jollyes, who are backed by Kester Capital, are the UK's second biggest pet retailer. They were founded in 1935 and have a growing portfolio of over 70 retail park superstores and concessions in garden centres across the nation.
Recently, as well as selling toys for pets and food, Jollyes have started to expand and offer customers grooming and veterinary services in store.
The plans which include opening a new Edinburgh store, will be part of 20 further additions to their portfolio across the UK, including England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
