The video captioned “Pronouncing Edinburgh wrong to get my boyfriend and his sister's reaction”, shows the girl waiting for the perfect time to mention the city in random passing comment.

She sets up the camera acting very casual before asking if 'Edinburg' is in Ireland or Scotland. Completely dodging the question she has asked, her boyfriend responds seemingly bemused by her choice of word.

She pronounces the city as ‘Edinburg’ with a hard G instead and the two people off camera are pretty defensive over the pronunciation.

The boyfriend and his sister yell at the girl on camera the correct way to pronounce Edinburgh while she laughs comically at the camera.

She tries to continue with the prank by saying "Its spelt 'Edinburg'" which only brings further irritation from the pair being pranked.

Attempting to wind them up further she says “Is it really Edinburgh? I’ve always pronounced it 'Edinburg'” - only to spark further confusion for the two off camera who exclaim in unison: “No you haven't!”.

Pleased with her prank she laughs hysterically at the camera again before ending the comical clip.
