Senior judges have ruled that an Edinburgh man who took his own life before appearing in court charged with murdering his own mother would likely have been convicted.
Sean Flynn was due in court last October facing a charge of murder after his mother, Louise Tiffney, was found in a shallow grave in Longniddry, East Lothian.
