Taco Bell are set to open their latest Edinburgh restaurant at an abandoned New Town bank.
The global Mexican-styled eatery’s store at Picardy Place will be their second venture in Edinburgh, after they opened at Shandwick Place last year.
The American chain serve a variety of options, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, novelty and specialty items, along with a variety of “value menu” items.

No exact opening date has been confirmed but it the new store is expected to open sometime in the coming Spring months.
The new restaurant will open at the site of an old Bank of Scotland that had a ground floor of 4,000 sq ft.
The bank was one of four that Bank of Scotland shut in Edinburgh last year, due to shifting customer habits.
Taco Bell are now recruiting management staff for their latest Edinburgh venture.
The job advert says applicants must be used to working in a “fast paced environment.”
It states: “Famous for our great value and culture, Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing Mexican-inspired QSR chains internationally, we are now looking to add new managerial talent to spearhead our Taco Bell culture which we are famously known for. We are looking for confident, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a keen interest working with both the public and food.”
As of 2018, Taco Bell serves over two billion customers each year, at 7,072 restaurants, more than 93 percent of which are owned and operated by independent franchisees and licensees.
