An Edinburgh school has been nominated for the "much anticipated" Tatler Schools Awards 2023.
The awards, held by UK magazine Tatler, choose which schools across the nation "come out on top". The magazine is known for its yearly Tatler Schools Guide.
A "variety of sources" including public votes determine the shortlist, as well as "visits, interviews and questionnaires".

There are a range of categories included in the awards, such as Best Prep School, Best Public School, Lifetime Achievement, Unsung Hero, and Eco Warrior.
Independent Edinburgh school Fettes College is among the shortlist for Best Public School, alongside fellow nominees Radley, Sherborne, Blundell's, and Stowe. It is the only Scottish school in the line-up.
In a statement on their website, Tatler said: "For the past 19 years, the Tatler Schools Guide has been the definitive, impartial directory of the leading independent schools in the UK. Hundreds of visits, interviews and questionnaires later, the guide is curated establishing 249 of the finest schools in the nation – but the question is who from this already elite bunch comes out on top?
"Only the Tatler Schools Awards can decide, with nominations from a variety of sources, including public votes - with just under 3,000 of you taking part this year. From this the winners are handpicked from a carefully created shortlist, overseen by our expert panel."
