One of Edinburgh's best-loved restaurants is celebrating after finally receiving a Michelin Star a decade after opening its doors in the capital.
The family-run Timberyard, which is located on Lady Lawson Street, was presented with the prestigious award by the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland at their annual ceremony, which took place at Silverstone Circuit in Northampton on Monday, March 27.
The top eatery was praised by the inspectors for producing seasonal dishes that are "so well defined and satisfying" as well as "letting ingredients speak for themselves".
