The old St James Centre in Edinburgh has been captured in an unearthed video recently released.
The footage uploaded to YouTube shows the old shopping centre just days before it shut down.
The St. James Centre shopping centre was built in 1973 but demolished in 2016 to make way for the new St James Quarter.

The video takes viewers on an eerie tour of the old building and it is apparent that the end is coming.
There are not many shoppers around and a lot of the shops, like River Island, are already boarded up.
The popular centre had over 60 stores, cafés, restaurants and a food court - and boasted many popular retailers, such as River Island, Super Drug, Warren James, Ryman, O2, Burton, Wallis, Next, Sports Direct, JD Sports, Subway, Game and Dorothy Perkins.
It’s not a patch on today’s plush foodhall, Bonnie & Wild, but the original St James food court was the perfect place to stop and get a quick bite to eat back in the day.
Only the John Lewis store survived the demolition, being preserved and extended, as part of the new St James Quarter.
The video tour ends as the user walks out the old shopping centre and looks up toward construction work that had already started on the new shopping centre.
The massive St James Quarter finally opened in June of 2021, with room for 80 stores, and a focus on high-end retails like Harrods Beauty, Hamleys, Peloton and a Lego Store.
