Edinburgh's 'most haunted pub' to host night of Christmas Spookiness this weekend

Edinburgh's 'Most Haunted Pub' is set to host a night of 'Christmas Spookiness' this weekend with three free movie screenings and a spooky magic show.

The Banshee Labyrinth, which is located in the depths of Edinburgh’s North Bridge Vaults and is said to be haunted by several spectres, is hosting a night of magic and macabre - with horror-themed cocktails and a magic show from Edinburgh Horror Festival Sell Out Magician Ash Pryce.

Running from 5pm on Saturday, December 17, the event features the "The Discoverie of Witchcraft" - the FINAL performance of the enthralling magic show from the popular magician.

The team confirmed the magic show is 'Pay What You Can' though seats can be reserved online from the Horrorfest website here (min price £6).

This will then be followed by free screenings of the films Hocus Pocus, The Crucible, and The VVitch, which begin from 7:30 pm.

A post about the "The Discoverie of Witchcraft" said: "'Fraidy cats and brave souls welcome for unsettling paranormal illusions from supernatural magician Ash Pryce.

"Step into the Underground Vaults of Scotland’s Most Haunted pub, for an experience with the supernatural, the paranormal, things that go BUMP in the night as you take part in a series of mind-twisting demonstrations inspired by witchcraft, the occult, and the ghostly.

"Combining occult phenomena, ESP and spooky illusions with stage mentalism, and theatre, the show will skirt the edges of what is real and what is on the other side of the veil."
