Edinburgh's most bizarre Google Street view moment caught on camera

Giving the most up to date maps around the world, you may have seen a Google Street view camera occasionally heading around Edinburgh.

However, with the camera capturing live images as it goes, it can often pick up some bizarre happenings around it, only to be discovered when the images are updated online.

Taken outside a local garage, what appeared to be a murder scene was caught on camera, with one man in a red boiler suit lying face down on the road.

Standing above him was another ominous looking gentleman, which caused quite the stir when it was discovered on Google Maps.

According to the Record, the scene was so convincing that members of the public had phoned the police, only for an investigation to discover it was just two pranksters taking advantage of the camera.

Working at a local Edinburgh garage, the business was forced to apologise for any upset caused.
