A plane full of Ryanair passengers were left in shock as their flight touched down at Edinburgh Airport.
Travelling on the 6.30am service from Dublin to the capital on Wednesday morning, both travellers and cabin crew had been surprised to see part of the plane collapse as they hit the tarmac.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, one passenger explained that the aircraft had hit the runway with force as it landed, causing what was a bumpy impact.

Initially believing an overhead locker had opened and its contents fallen out, passengers were shocked to see part of the planes wiring exposed, with the panel crashing into the aisle.

Thankfully causing no injuries, the passenger said: "We were sitting near the back of the plane. The back wheels hit the tarmac so hard the piece of the ceiling flew off.
"Initially we had thought the overhead bin had opened, until we saw the exposed wires. It didn’t hit anyone thankfully. People were shocked then there was nervous laughter and people started taking photos."
A spokesperson from Ryanair said: “There was no “incident” on this Dublin to Edinburgh flight (07 Dec) – one of the interior ceiling panels simply came loose and fell onto the cabin floor upon landing and was replaced by our engineers ahead of the next flight.”
