Road closures have been put in place after a lorry has blocked the A702 near Easter Howgate, with the vehicle still stuck.
Recovery of the vehicle is ongoing, having been stuck on the road since this morning. Traffic Scotland announced the incident at 10.15am, at which point the road was partially blocked.
Efforts have been ongoing to remove the vehicle, though no updates have been given as of yet. Traffic Scotland have said the section of road was fully closed at 2pm.

By 2.50pm, Road Policing Scotland tweeted: “Dalkeith Road Police attended a report of a lorry that was obstructing the A702 near Easter Howgate this morning.

“The lorry is still in situ and temporary road closures have been implemented to allow for the recovery of the vehicle, which is ongoing.”
