Edinburgh's food and drink scene is front and centre of a newly published guidebook by travel gurus Lonely Planet.
Their latest release, titled 'Experience Scotland', aims to 'turn to travel on its head' and has been dubbed 'the anti-guidebook’ by 'helping travellers uncover new ways to get away from the everyday, filled with unforgettable experiences and interesting local surprises'.
And although it touches on most corners of Scotland, it has an entire section dedicated to one of our favourite city spots.
