An Edinburgh resident is fuming at careless drivers for 'dangerous' parking in Leith.
The local who does not wish to be named snapped a driver 'double parked' on a narrow Leith street on Saturday September 24. The resident reported the incident to the council but claims not enough is done to combat the irresponsible behaviour.

The car was pictured on Spey Terrace and shows the vehicle alongside another parked car blocking off the road in both directions. Double parking refers to parking parallel to a car already parked at the curb.
This leaves the road blocked and can be a hazard for other vehicles passing and pedestrians in the area.
The concerned local is worried for others who need to use the road including cyclists, families and emergency service vehicles that would not be able to pass.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, the local, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "It is happening every day. Monday to Friday are the worst weekends just as bad.
"There are a number of no tax no mot cars, one car window was smashed and it is still there the double parking is so bad fire service can't get up the police have been phoned a number of times and they give you the same rubbish the council do.
"Double parking is a police problem if this was on a main road they would deal with this but they don't, they don't care and the council are the same."
They added: "Every time you tweet the council they tell you to report it but nothing gets done and the reporting site does not cover double parking or parking on pavements etc so them telling you to report it is is pointless.
"There are probably 15 cars that are not taxed and have no mot on them roads, one has been broken into and its still there."
It is against the rules to park more than 50cm from the kerb. Cars that are double parked will invariably be more than 50cm from the kerb, and it’s down to local authority guidance on whether this is grounds for a ticket.
Double parking falls under decriminalised parking enforcement and as such, it will normally be dealt with by the local authority.
If you leave your car double parked you will likely receive a civil penalty charge rather than a police fixed penalty notice, and you won’t get penalty points on your licence.
The City of Edinburgh Council have been contacted for comment.
