Edinburgh rave descends into chaos as bouncer tries to drag topless DJ from decks

An Edinburgh rave descended into chaos after a bouncer tried to drag a topless DJ from the decks during his performance.

DJ Azyr was playing a Techno Belters Enhanced set at the Liquid Rooms on Saturday, January 14, when he started dancing on top of the turntable

Venue security attempted to pull the Blackpool musician down several times but he refused to budge, before an over-enthusiastic fan rushed the stage, Edinburgh Live reports.

After being unable to remove the DJ, the bouncer then chased after the reveller, who managed to leap off the stage and back into the packed crowd.

DJ Azyr, who then came down on his own, later shared a video of the incident to Tik Tok, along with the caption: "CHAOS IN EDINBURGH - Scotland never disappoints big up to the crowd going nuts for an hour straight."

The clip has since garnered 30,000 views and 3,000 likes, with many techno fans enjoying the madness.

Liam Robertson commented: "Mate you did not disappoint - until next time." Merl added: "Owner kicking off", with DJ Azyr responding: "Boss man wasn't happy."

Jas wrote: "What a god." While another social media user said: "He had to be hand dragged off the decks."
