Edinburgh pupils hold fundraising 'derby' match to honour Christopher Cowe

Friends of Christopher Cowe who tragically lost his life following a sudden cardaic arrest will host a memorial football match to honour his memory.

Two teams made up of players from both Balerno and Currie High School will take part in the fundraising match - Christopher Cowe Community Shield - on Wednesday June 15 at 7:00pm on the 3G pitch adjacent to Currie Rugby Club.

Christopher was popular with both sets of students having attended Balerno but had grown up with childhood friends that attended Currie High with him having played for Currie youth football as a young boy.
