An Edinburgh pub is celebrating success after picking up a prestigious prize at a national food and drinks awards ceremony.
A number of capital restaurants and bars were given 'highly recommended' titles at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards, with a couple of winners too.
And an Edinburgh bar, just a two minute walk from the Royal Mile, landed the coveted Best Beer Selection in Scotland prize.

Self-described as 'masters of adventure, with theatrics served alongside lashings of magical contemporary cocktails, tank beer and plenty of surprises', the Bavarian-themed Brewhemia also considers itself as 'Scotland's Beer Palace' - and on the evidence of this recent award-win, it's hard to disagree.
An extensive drinks menu offers a number of beers, both bottled and on tap, from across the globe, specialising in the best lagers brought from Germany. Meanwhile, their tank fresh beers are extremely popular with capital drinkers.
Another notable successes for the hospitality sector in the Edinburgh area included The Big Cheese at The Venue on Potterrow scooping the Best Events/Entertainment venue prize.
