An incredible Midlothian mansion has hit the market, which was once rented by none other than Sir Walter Scott.
The 18th century property was home to the iconic Edinburgh playwright and author for seven years, and is now searching for a new owner.
Located in Lasswade, 'Barony House' was occupied by Scott and his wife Charlotte following their honeymoon in 1798, with the couple living there until 1805.
