A West Lothian prisoner has died at HMP Edinburgh weeks after being put behind bars.
Connor Morrison died while serving a sentence at the Saughton prison on Wednesday, April 20.
The 24-year-old was jailed at Livingston Sheriff Court after being convicted of threatening and abusive behaviour, assault and breach of bail on Tuesday, March 22.
He was sentenced to 161 days in jail the Record reports.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and was confirmed by the Scottish Prison Service.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and a Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held.
A statement from the SPS read: "Connor Morrison, 24, a prisoner from HMP Edinburgh has died on April 20, 2022.
"He was convicted at Livingston Sheriff Court in 2022.
"Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "“Police received a report of a sudden death of a 24-year-old man within a prison in Edinburgh at 7.55am on Wednesday, April 20.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
