A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7pm on Monday, 15 May, 2023, police were called to a report of anti-social behaviour involving a group of youths in the Saughton Park area of Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and the group had dispersed prior to police arrival. Enquiries are ongoing.”
This comes just weeks after police in the city said they were clamping down on anti-social behaviour with extra patrols along the popular Union Canal. Officers asked locals to be considerate to path users, think about how others may feel about your actions and enjoy the walkways safely.
