Police in Edinburgh are searching for a man who they believe may be able to assist in enquiries into a serious assault in the city centre.
The incident occurred around 7:20pm on Sunday, July 17, 2021, on Windsor Street.
A 24-year-old male was reportedly verbally abused and assaulted by two males, subsequently suffering serious facial injuries and being rushed to hospital.

Officers have released an image of one male who is described as white, slim build, between 5ft 5 and 5ft 9 inches in height, between 15 and 18 years old, with light brown/blonde hair.
He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white logo on the front, black Nike shorts, grey trainers and was carrying a black rucksack on his back.
Officers believe that the male shown in the image may have information that could assist them and would appeal to him or anyone who recognises him to contact them.
