Emergency services in Edinburgh raced to Leith on Monday (April 25) after the body of a man was discovered.
Police have confirmed that the individual was found on Tower Place in Leith, after reports were made at around 7.40am.
A large emergency response had attended the scene, with the area surrounding Tower Place cordoned off by officers while enquiries were carried out.

In a statement, police said they had been made aware of concern for a person, before the body of a man was found at the scene.

The death is currently not believed to be suspicious, with enquiries still ongoing into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.40am on Monday, 25 April, to a report of a concern for person in Tower Place, Edinburgh.
"The body of a man was found.
“The death is not believed to be suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.”
