Police in Edinburgh raced to a popular Fringe venue on Friday after a taxi and cyclist collided on a main road.
Officers had been called out to the Pleasance on August 5 after the black cab and bike had crashed into one another next to a busy junction shortly after 1.15pm.
Images taken from the scene had shown police interviewing both parties, with the cyclist and taxi driver both reported to have been uninjured from the incident.

However, the bike involved appeared to have suffered some damage, with the frame lying strewn across the road as police worked to direct traffic around the scene.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said:
“Around 1.15 pm on Friday, 5 August 2022 police received a report of a crash involving a cyclist and taxi at the Pleasance, Edinburgh.
“There were no reports of anyone seriously injured.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
