An appeal has been launched in Edinburgh to help trace a missing man who is thought to be in the city.
Officers both in Edinburgh and South Yorkshire are carrying out enquiries to locate John, a 63-year-old man who has not been seen for days.
Originally from Doncaster, John has not been seen since Friday at around midday in the Cantley area.
However, on Wednesday (February 9) police in Edinburgh stated that John is thought to have arrived in the city on a train at around 6.15pm.

Arriving into Waverley Station, anyone with information has been urged to contact police as soon as possible.
He is believed to be wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black boots and may also have on a black beanie style hat and black woollen gloves.

He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of a stocky build and with short grey hair.
Officers believe he may currently be in Scotland.
Anyone who sees John or who has information which could help us find him is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 572 of Sunday 6 February.
